Dear Employer/Recruiter/Jobseeker:

We invite you to participate in the Urban League of San Diego County’s Twentieth Anniversary of the Barbara E. Webb Diversity Works! Career Opportunity Exchange. Named after it's founder, the late Barbara E. Webb, this annual event is a celebration of our commitment to diversity and inclusion. It is also an opportunity for local employers to come in contact with over 10,000 diverse jobseekers seeking career information and employment.

As an avid supporter of diversity, you have an extraordinary opportunity to participate in this unique event, presented by the Urban League of San Diego County and The San Diego Workforce Partnership, along with supporting sponsors: Cardinal Health, Cubic, SAIC, and Ultimate Staffing.

This year’s event is particularly historic in that the Career Opportunity Exchange is the melding of three dynamic community platforms: The Urban League San Diego County, San Diego Workforce Partnership,  The California Public Utilities Commission and San Diego Gas & Electric’s “WeCARE California” initiative.

The Career Opportunity Exchange's format is designed to ensure that Employers and Jobseekers gain the exposure, tools, recognition, and benefit for their participation.

This year we are featuring a Workshop & Presentation Series Presented by the San Diego Workforce Partnership titled: Rethink. Retool. Take Control - Finding Your Path to Success During Challenging Times

Workshop Schedule:

  • 8 AM - 10 AM: Job Search Related Workshops
  • 10 AM : Resource Service Providers & Employers Floor Opens
