The Urban League of San Diego County is proud to present the Diversity Works! Employer Diversity Networking LuncheonSeries. The luncheons are an interactive forum designed to address the many different ways employers can Make Diversity Work in San Diego. Each month we will give an overview of our Diversity Works!initiatives and partnerships and feature a keynote speech by a member of our Diversity Advisory Council or a special invited guest speaker. The goal is to expose attendees to the best diversity experts in the field, create a forum for discussion and growth, and attract new Diversity Works!Employer Partners.
All lunches will be held in the League's Manpower boardroom located at 720 Gateway Center Drive from 11:30 to 1:00 - please check in with the receptionist at the front desk in suite A.
Lunch will be provided by various caterers (we accept suggestions) and is limited to the first 50 RSVP's; registration is required. All are welcome to attend. Lunch is $10 for Diversity Works!Employer Partners and $15 for all others. About the speaker: Nancy Clark is CEO and Founder of WomensMedia, a media company focused on promoting women in the workplace, as well as the host of the "Women's Lunch Talk" blog and the weekly podcast "Working in Heels". Starting out in rocket science with NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, she moved into computer technology at the University of California, Berkeley and then became committed to helping women overcome obstacles in business. For thirty years she has been dedicated to gender equity in business.

Meski is a former Fortune 100 corporate executive with 20 years of diversified expertise in various aspects of strategic and financial management; cash management and banking relations; international finance and international business. she has extensive experience in working with the financial and investment banking community, both in domestic and international financial transactions, with direct responsibilities for numerous complex and varied financial transactions, including a $250 million asset-based financing and restructuring of $80 million pollution control bonds with five State Governments She has a strong reputation for her integrity, and skillful negotiating expertise as well as her ability to effectively structure and execute creative forms of financing when financial conditions are not conducive.
